To be added to the waiting list\, please call (719) 634-5583 or email fac@coloradocollege.edu \nWe’ve partnered with the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum for this guided stroll through downtown Colorado Springs. We’ll reflect on the meaning of and connections to the commemoration of the America 250/Colorado 150 anniversaries. In 2026\, how can we make sense of the 250 years since the Declaration of Independence\, and 150 years of Colorado statehood? Join a knowledgeable guide on this 90-minute\, approximately 1-mile walking tour\, exploring how we have marked time throughout the history of Colorado Springs. Consider different regional anniversaries through the built environment and reflect on your own memories and observations of important events and dates.   \nThis 1 mile downtown walking tour starts and ends at The Mining Exchange Hotel (8 S. Nevada Ave.). While all guests are welcome\, this tour is designed for an adult audience. Please plan to meet in the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes early to check-in\, or earlier if you would like to order a beverage from the hotel’s coffee shop Blk Mgk (not included in ticket price). \nTickets: $10 \nThis is a members-only event.
