Cyanotype Workshop

September 17, 2021 @ 1:00 pm

As part of Museum Free day on Sept. 17, join desert ArtLAB for a pop-up workshop exploring native flora of Colorado through the cyanotype process. The cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic printing processes. All ages are invited to participate. We ask children 6 and under to be accompanied by an adult.

These will be small groups (around 10 people) every 30 minutes from 1–3 p.m.

Admission is free but advanced registration is required

Desert ArtLAB is an interdisciplinary artist collaborative co-directed by April Bojorquez (she/her) and Matthew Garcia (he/him) whose work promotes Indigenous perspectives on ecological practice and climate change. Desert ArtLAB is the 2021 Mellon Artist in Residence at the Colorado College Fine Arts Center’s Museum. More information at desertartlab.com
