SUMMARY:Santos Care Project
DESCRIPTION:Join museum staff to learn about the ongoing project to care for and digitize the museum’s collection of santos (artistic representations of saints and holy figures). The FAC cares for approximately 1\,200 santos spanning over two centuries of practice\, largely from southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. Discover how the museum is digitizing and protecting these objects and explore collections storage to discover works not currently on display. \nFree with museum admission. Space is limited and reservations are encouraged. \nRSVP
