FAC Members Law & Disorder Downtown History Stroll
August 9 @ 10:00 am
FAC Members: We’ve partnered with the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum for this half-mile guided stroll through downtown Colorado Springs. Explore how Colorado Springs officials fought to remain a “dry town” in “wet times,” the captivating story of how the Colorado Springs Citizens Committee worked to run the KKK out of town in the 1920s, and an infamous murder case that would lead to a groundbreaking development in forensic science.
This 1/2 mile downtown walking tour starts and ends at The Mining Exchange Hotel (8 S. Nevada Ave.). While all guests are welcome, this tour is designed for an adult audience
