Fine Arts Center Marketing & Communications Strategist

Oversees the communication and marketing strategies for the Fine Arts Center division of the college. Collaborates with the CC Communications department to ensure that planning is executed in a timely manner and to the advantage of all programming at the FAC. Oversees branding strategies, creative development, and public messaging. Apply for the Marketing Strategist position

Head of Collections

Serve as a senior member of the museum team charged with the functional care and stewardship of the collections held by the Fine Arts Center; provide important leadership in both long-range planning efforts and oversight of day-to-day activities relative to the care and stewardship of approximately 17,000 works of art and material culture. Technical Director

Oversees the safe and timely creation of scenery for all theatre and education programming and is responsible for the creation of scenic elements for each production and manages the Scenic Shop at the Fine Arts Center Theatre Company. Apply for the Technical Director position

Light Board Operator and Lighting Electrician

The award winning Theater Company at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College (LOA/LORT) is seeking a light board operator and lighting electrician for our 2021/22 season. We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable theater professionals to join our team. Applicants should have experience working with both conventional and intelligent instruments, have a working knowledge of ETC/ EOS language, and have a strong work ethic that will not fade under stress. Carpenter

The scenic department of the FAC Theatre Company is looking for over-hire carpenters. Carpentry experience a must with an emphasis in theatrical carpentry a plus. If interested please send a resume to Chris Sheley at csheley@coloradocollege.edu. No phone calls, please.

Costume Department Workers

The costume department of the FAC Theatre Company has ongoing needs, on a contract basis, for individuals with experience and proficient skills in any or all of the following: alteration tailoring, patterning/cutting, draping, working from a commercial pattern, handwork, costume craft (e.g. hat and mask making), and fabric painting and/or dying. Theatre Designers and Technicians

The Fine Arts Center Theatre Company accepts resumes on an on-going basis. The Theatre Company encourages high production values and quality theatre for its patrons, and is looking for talented and creative people to join our team, both on contractual and employment basis. Potential candidates will have formal education and/or experience in the theatre industry. We periodically have need for the following positions:

  • Scenic, Lighting, Costume, and Sound Designers

  • Scenic Artists
  • Stage Managers

  • Costume Construction Personnel
  • Run Crew Personnel
