Join museum staff in the Agents of Care gallery for a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to safely pack, transport, and install artworks from the museum’s collection when they travel on loan to other museums. Learn how these remarkable pieces make their journeys across the country and around the world through photos, videos, and stories from the collections team.
You’ll also have the rare chance to see a selection of recently traveled works brought into the gallery—including two longtime favorites: Portrait of Miss Elsie Palmer by John Singer Sargent and Dark Iris No. 1 by Georgia O’Keeffe, both on view during the event.
