Member Moments: Bringing Puppets to Life

Members: Go behind the scenes and learn about the process of bringing puppets to life with the The Little Mermaid’s Puppet Captain Katy Williams. We will talk about the design, fabrication, and operation of the over 30 puppets in the show, built by WYNOT Productions. Katy will include a short Puppetry 101 lesson too! You will come away with a fuller understanding of the puppets in this show and tons of puppetry tips and tricks. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, get up close to the puppets, and even take your picture with the iconic characters.
Katy Williams is the President and Founding Member of the Rocky Mountain Puppetry Guild, a collective chartered by Puppeteers of America to encourage education, interest, accessibility, and participation in puppetry for local audiences.
