Beginner Tatreez (Palestinian Embroidery) History + Hands On Workshop

This is a beginner’s workshop ideal for those with little to no tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) experience. There is a 30 minute teaching portion in the beginning from Bayan Fares of Badan Collective where brief Palestinian history is covered, followed by a demonstration on the mechanics of cross-stitching. The rest of the workshop is hands-on. Students will take home their finished piece.
