About Christopher Hureau
Christopher Hureau came to Colorado Springs over 40 years ago for his last assignment with the U.S. Air Force. After his 10-year Air Force career, he began his lifelong dream of being a full-time artist, first as a commercial artist, then as a landscape painter. He was the Senior Illustrator and Designer at the Air Force Academy from 1996–2013. His accomplishments included illustrations and graphic designs for publications, logos, and teaching materials for the Cadet Wing. Additionally, he painted traditional portraits of the Academy’s Senior Leadership. His original oil paintings, fine art prints, and note cards are exhibited along the Front Range from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins.

About Ed Hureau
If you recognize the name Eddie Hureau, it’s because you’ve seen it in numerous playbills playing woodwinds in the FAC’s Pit Orchestra since 1998. Before he retired from the Air Force, Eddie was the former group leader and musical director of the USAF Academy Band’s Falconaires jazz ensemble. During his tenure there, he performed with many musical luminaries: both Sinatras, Wayne Newton, Andy Williams, Bob Hope, Bernadette Peters, the Four Freshmen, the Temptations, Frankie Valli, Mel Torme, Manhattan Transfer, and the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, just to name a few. Eddie will be playing the Roland Aerophone, a digital wind instrument with a whole orchestra of sounds!
