Music from The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

One of the truly exciting things about producing the theatrical adaptation of the classic novel, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, was the necessity for music to be integrated into the storytelling. There is existing music that could be used from the original production, but our team, under the direction of Meghann Henry, decided to create our own music for our production through the rehearsal process. By creating music as we were also developing the characters, we created a unique marriage in the storytelling, building a world where the language and music were integral to each other’s success. The music that two of our actors (Jack English and Tracy Taylor) created for our show is nothing short of astounding! Take a listen to this excerpt. And, please join us for a performance of The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane when the FAC is back up and running, because that wonderful rabbit will be with us as soon as we can once again gather in our spaces. His story about love and caring for others is even more necessary today.
