booking fac spaces – FAQs

How do I check availability of FAC spaces for my event?

Interested parties should submit an event inquiry form or call (719) 477-4361 and speak to a friendly member on our events team.

Can I have my event in the mainstage theatre space?

The FAC Theatre Company produces six original productions annually in-house, leaving no availability for outside entities to rent the mainstage theatre.

Can I have my event in the museum galleries?

Availability of museum spaces is restricted due to the demands of our programming calendar and for the protection of the art in most spaces. To check availability, please submit an event inquiry form or contact our events director at (719) 477-4361.

I would like to tour the spaces, how do I coordinate that?

Upon receipt and review of your event inquiry form, our events director will contact you to confirm availability and coordinate a tour of the space.

Can I use my own caterer or provide my own food?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing by Colorado College. Bon Appétit is the exclusive caterer for all FAC events offering a variety of fresh, authentic, delicious, and customizable selections.

Is alcohol permitted at FAC events?

Yes. Bar service can be contracted through Bon Appétit, the FAC’s exclusive caterer.

Are we allowed into the museum during my event?

Access to the museum galleries can be available as part of your rental for an additional charge to cover group admission fees, as well as possible direct costs of after-hours staff or security. Food and drinks are prohibited in museum galleries.

Can I book my own photographer? Are there any restrictions?

Renter must obtain prior written permission from the FAC to photograph, film, broadcast, record, or reproduce by radio, television, or any other device, the events inside the facility. Restrictions on equipment usage and art inclusion apply. Certain works of art on the FAC property cannot be photographed without expressed written permission from the artist or copyright holder, and is only permitted without use of flash or tripod equipment.

Where can my events guests park?
