Internship Opportunities
Interested in working in the arts? Interning with us provides insight into what it could look like to pursue a career in an arts organization. The FAC hires multiple CC student interns during both the summer session and the academic year.
Museum Internships
Depending on programmatic needs, students can apply to intern with the following departments in the museum: Curatorial, Collections, and Exhibits. Applications for internships during the academic year open during Block 1 (6–8 hrs per week); applications for summer internships open during Block 8 (32–40 hrs per week).Current openings
Bronfman Family Endowed Internships for the Arts
Thanks to a generous endowment from the Bronfman Family, CC students can pursue interdisciplinary, education-focused internships supporting work in museum education, Bemis School of Art, or the FAC Theatre Company. Applications for internships during the academic year open during Block 1 (6–8 hrs per week); applications for summer internships open during Block 8 (20 hrs per week). Current openings
FAC Perks for CC Students
Your Gold Card is your ticket to the arts! As a Colorado College student, you are automatically a member of the Fine Arts Center and receive perks across the organization.
Extracurricular Clubs
Clay Club: Runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. Students can use the pottery wheels, sculpting tables, basic tools, clay, and glazes in whatever capacity they are comfortable.
Black & White Darkroom Club: We want to get more people shooting, developing, and printing with film. Students learn to use the darkroom at Bemis School of Art through lessons, open hours, and special workshops.
Free Museum Admission
Along with a robust temporary exhibition program, the Museum’s permanent collection of around 17,000 objects showcases the rich history and vibrant contemporary cultures of the Southwest and the Americas.Current museum exhibitions
Free Theatre Tickets
CC students receive free tickets the day of the performance to any of our theatre productions. Tickets subject to availability and must be picked up in person at the FAC with your Gold Card. Current theatre shows
Discounted Art Classes
CC students receive discounted rates for art classes at Bemis School of Art. Explore your creative side with classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, film photography, and more. Browse classes

Museum Studies Major
The Museum Studies concentration in Art History introduces students to the theories and practices of the museum while offering an additional lens through which they may understand their study of art history. Learn more
