Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center 2026-2027 Season Auditions

Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, a LORT D – LOA theatre, is seeking actor submissions for our 2026-2027 season.

Show #1: White Christmas: 1st Rehearsal: October 20, 2026; Performances: November 21 – December 27, 2026.
Show #2: Grounded: 1st Rehearsal: January 19, 2027; Performances: February 13 – March 7, 2027
Show #3: Dear Evan Hansen: 1st Rehearsal: April 20, 2027; Performances May 22 – June 13, 2027

For our Mainstage productions, we will produce three shows at the LORT D – LOA level with 36 hours of rehearsal per week at the Equity rate of $675.00 per week. Please note that all productions may have one to four potential student matinee performances and only submit yourself for consideration if your schedule will offer the flexibility for you participating in select performances during school hours (if given advance notice). Additional compensation is provided for school performances. For out-of-town artists, transportation to, and housing in, Colorado Springs is provided. For Denver-based artists, limited housing or a gas stipend is available.

All rehearsals are held at the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. 30 West Dale Street, Colorado Springs, CO. 80903. All performances will take place in the JiGāSa theatre.

Audition Information:

If you are able to join us in-person, auditions will be May 9, 2026 from 10a-6p (Lunch 1p-2p) and May 10, 2026 from 10a-6p (Lunch 1p-2p) at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center located at 30 W. Dale St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Please prepare two contrasting monologues. Singers should prepare a song from a musical standard and may forgo one monologue in lieu of a short song. Total audition package should be no longer than 5 minutes – an accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in your key. Please also bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

If you cannot join us on those dates, please submit a self-tape via an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link to your video consisting of two contrasting pieces and a musical standard. The total of both pieces should be no more than 5 minutes. It is helpful if you have neutral background and good sound quality.
