Unframing Dalí

Swing by the Agents of Care gallery from 1-4 p.m. to watch museum collections staff unframe several works by artist Salvador Dalí. Unframing art can often lead to exciting discoveries including sketches and incomplete drafts on the reverse of works, hidden inscriptions, and more. Museum staff will discuss why we store some works framed while unframing others, and how unframed art is protected and kept safe. This is a drop-in program that is free and open to the public.
