Family Activity Backpacks

Members of the Fine Arts Center can explore the museum with a family backpack filled with intriguing items and fun activities. Backpacks contain tools, tips, and games to help children ages 5-9 and their adult(s) make the most out of their museum visit together and think about art in new ways. Finish up your visit with an art project using our art materials and take home your creation.

Backpacks are available for check out at the front desk for FAC members. Please allow approximately 60-90 minutes to complete your backpack. Collateral required (such as a driver’s license, credit card, etc.) in order to check out a backpack. Limited availability, available on a first come first serve basis.

Activities in the backpack are changed out periodically, so keep coming back for more fun!

Backpacks & Bites

Make your backpack visit extra special with a creative outing the whole family will love! On select days, when you use the Family Activity Backpack, you can pick up a free snack pack for the kids to enjoy before or after. Cozy up with your little ones in the Garden Lounge and explore our collection of art-themed children’s books. Snack, craft, and relax together.
