Fine Arts Center Foundation

Helping to ensure the future health and sustainability of the FAC, through our second century and beyond.

Established in 1996, with an original investment of $9.88 million, the Fine Arts Center Foundation was created to manage and protect the Fine Arts Center’s endowment. Originally founded by Marvin Strait during his service on the FAC’s Board of Trustees, the Foundation’s Board of Trustees carries out its mission thoughtfully, carefully, and independently. In its two+ decades of operation, the Foundation has paid out more than $18 million to the FAC.

With the FAC now a part of Colorado College, the FAC Foundation carries on as an independent entity, managing the FAC endowment and any additions made to it. New gifts made to the FAC Foundation will grow this endowment, providing greater annual payout to the FAC and benefitting the programs and operations of the Fine Arts Center for years to come.
