Skip to main content Join us for this class where you will get an introduction to using watercolor paints and oil pastels as a resist medium to make a batik like work of art on muslin cloth. Students will also learn how to use a simple running stitch to sew their work of art onto a felt piece for hanging. Students will learn some history about Batik making and will be encouraged to explore the materials and techniques to give them the freedom to create their own art that will be enjoyed for a lifetime!
