The Modern Era
Since the 2007 expansion, the FAC has grown into one of the most significant multidisciplinary institutions in the country. We have seen much transition and growth, and in 2017 expanded our mission to become an integral part of the academic enrichment of the Colorado College community.
The museum, now under the direction of Executive Museum Director Rebecca Tucker, is gaining in ambition and momentum, specializing in blockbuster traveling exhibitions as well as shows that build on the riches of our permanent collection.
The theatre company, under the direction of Executive Producing Artistic Director Scott RC Levy, continues to take the theatre to new heights, continually breaking box office records.
The FAC’s Bemis School of Art, under the direction of Executive Director of Education Tara Thomas, is expanding the scope and depths of classes and garnering national attention for outreach efforts to fire victims and soldiers with PTSD.
